  10. Hi.  I just acquired, used, a US Robotics Sportster 28,800 Fax Modem, but 
  11. without the power supply module!  (I've seen devices smoke when the wrong 
  12. supply is used!)

  14. Could I impose on some kind soul to crawl under your desk, to wherever 
  15. you've got the darn thing plugged into, and see what it says on the label 
  16. of the power module?

  18. I'm pretty sure it's 9-volt, AC, about 850 Ma, but I'm not absolutely 
  19. certain.

  23. What I found interesting is that this specification isn't in the book, 
  24. nor any of the on-line electronical documentation from USR.  Is this 
  25. really that unusual of a question?
